Meet the MS Faculty Director: MS-ESP Program Overview & Application Process

Tuesday, September 15, 12:00–12:45  p.m.

Ready to lead solutions to today’s most pressing environmental challenges?

Join us on September 15 for a virtual conversation with: Faculty Director of MS Programs Anne Byrne, Associate Professor Nicholas Sanders, and Associate Director of Masters Programs Mary Garin to discover how Cornell’s Master of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Policy (MS-ESP) prepares graduates to lead across the environmental and sustainability policy landscape.

During this session, you’ll get an inside look at the Brooks School’s 12-month, STEM-designated MS-ESP program and discover how students benefit from Cornell’s university-wide sustainability ecosystem, engaging with leading organizations, faculty, and researchers tackling pressing environmental challenges.

In this session, we’ll cover:

  • How the curriculum brings together environmental policy, economics, law, data analysis, leadership, and sustainability
  • The employer-focused capstone and engaged learning opportunities that connect classroom learning to real-world challenges
  • How students learn in a collaborative, small-cohort environment
  • Career pathways across business, consulting, nonprofits, government, and international organizations
  • The admissions process and what makes a competitive applicant
